This is a new permanent senior role for a global household name FMCG company establishing a European head office in Switzerland.

We are seeking an English speaking, EU passport holder who is keen to be based in Switzerland (with extensive travel), to design and then drive a new European IT architecture strategy roadmap across the business. To be considered for this challenging role you will need a strong operational IT background (probably as a Chief Architect or similar); proven consulting skills in enterprise architecture (ideally SAP) working across multi-national businesses (could be from an internal consultancy role); leadership skills (although this role has no direct reports); and a high level of experience of working with a multi platform applications portfolio. You will need to have a very pragmatic approach, be comfortable working at board level, and be able to lobby and influence your internal network to drive decisions and results. You will be seen as the Pan-European architecture expert, and as such will need to technically competent to manage strategy around the full suite of enterprise technology including service orientated architectures and deployable packaged applications such as SAP.

This role is offered with a very comprehensive package that includes 5 weeks holiday, car allowance, excellent pension provision, relocation, ~20% annual bonus etc as one would expect at this level of importance. Salary is negotiable (aprox, CHF 180,000), but will not be a limiting factor for the right person.
